Description

Ink Experts sublimation conversion pack for the Epson Ecotank ET-2870 printer. An ideal package for those looking to convert their current printer into a sublimation printer.

The Sublimation conversion pack consists of-

• 4 x 100ml Inktec Sublinova Smart sublimation inks (C,M,Y,K)
• 4 x Easy Refill Bottles
• Your choice of sublimation paper you require:
  100 sheets of A4 Style paper
  50 sheets of A4 Fabric paper
  50 sheets of A4 Versa Paper
• A custom made ICC profile to match your printer and sublimation paper choice for improved colour correction*

Note: This package is best used with a brand new printer; that has never had ink installed. When using with a printer that previously had alternative ink installed the ink tanks require draining. Our ink is then installed and around 40 full colour prints producing to draw the new ink through to the printing head.

• ICC profiles are provided by email.
• Select the ICC profile to suit your needs; Windows*, Mac OS** or Both***
• ICC Profiles are not cross-compatible between Windows and Mac operating systems – specific profiles are required for each operating system being used.
• ICC profiles are not supported for use on mobile and tablet devices including iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Chromebook
• It is also strongly recommended that all printers be used with the provided USB cable, even if the printer has a wireless function.

* For Windows 7 to 11 laptop or desktop computers
** For OS Sonoma 14.6.1 iMac or MacBook computers

What ICC profile is included?*

Dependant on your sublimation paper selection a custom ICC profile is supplied to suit the printer model, Inktec Sublinova ink set and our sublimation paper. We have specific ICC profiles all our papers. If the trio paper package is selected 3 ICC profiles are supplied to work with the 3 different sublimation papers we supply.

*All ICC profiles provided by Ink Experts are protected by UK Intellectual Property Law and should not be shared or sold on. Ink Experts are the sole owners of these files. No title to the intellectual property in the Software is transferred to you under the terms of this Agreement. You do not acquire any rights to the Software except for use on one personal computer owned by the purchaser of this profile.

What inks are provided?

Ink Tec Sublinova Smart inks are one of the most renowned and high-quality sublimation inks available on the UK market.
They also offer the added ability to be used as a direct to garment ink in DTG printers making use of Epson Micro Piezo print head technology.

Manufactured for use in Epson printers, Sublinova Smart ink is designed to allow users to heat transfer images onto most synthetic materials.
These include materials such as polyester, ceramic mugs, spandex, nylon, sublimation plates / slates, and a plethora of other sublimates.

Images created with this ink are vibrant in colour, and also incredibly sharp.
The black ink offers unparalleled black transfer resulting in unrivalled monochrome reproduction.
This has the added benefit of eliminating unsightly brown or orange tones on any of your sublimated items.

Making use of Ink Tec’s “dispersed technology” Sublinova Smart inks offer unrivalled print quality, also providing the added benefit of not clogging your printer head.
Although specifically formulated to work with DX4 and DX5 printheads thorough testing has proved it to prove no problem in TFP heads and other Micro Piezo systems.

Furthermore SubliNova Smart ink is an environmentally friendly product.
Not only ROHS Compliant, but VOC and Formaldehyde free.

These inks are also accredited with the prestigious Eco Passport by the Oeko-Tex® Association

(DTI SEG SENS Ecopassport-LEVEL 1).

As well as having Oeko Tex certification our Inktec Sublinova Smart inks passed EN71-3 testing and are proven EN71-3 safety compliant.

What sublimation paper is included?

Our conversion kits are offered with a choice of sublimation papers dependant on the type of printing you plan to do. We offer the following choices:

Style 120gsm A4 (100 Sheet Pack) – This paper is a low release sublimation paper best suited to hard surface substrates such as ceramic and metal.
Versa 115gsm (A4 (50 Sheet Pack) – This is our All-Purpose sublimation paper. Versa features a hybrid coating which is both instant dry but also offers excellent ink release. Therefore this paper can be used for both hard and soft surface substrates including ceramic, metal, MDF, PU leather and most polyester based fabrics.
Fabric HR (50 Sheet Pack) – This is our high release (HR) paper and is best suited to fabric substrates. Offering unrivalled ink release Fabric HR produces bright and vibrant transfers on all polyester based fabrics making it our go to choice for t-shirts, cushion covers and tote bags.
Trio Pack – This option selects a pack of all 3 of the above papers. Ideal for customers wishing to produce he best quality on a range of substrates.
