Compatibility-

This printer package is compatible with Windows operating systems only.
The package includes ICC profiles suitable for:

• Windows operating system (Windows 7 to 11)
• Adobe Photoshop
• Serif Affinity Photo

This printer is not compatible with mobile or tablet devices:

• ICC profiles are not supported for use on mobile and tablet devices including iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Chromebook
• It is also strongly recommended that all printers be used with the provided USB cable, even if the printer has a wireless function.

What is sublimation printing?

Sublimation is the process of transferring a printed image onto a surface through heat and pressure.

Mugs that have images on are usually produced in this fashion, but that is not all.
Sublimation can also be used for fabric printing, glass picture tiles, custom phone cases, and much more.

Why the ET-1810?

Not only is this printer easy to use, but it offers excellent value and includes some amazing functions you won’t find on other printers.

The main attraction of this printer is the Ecotank, and the biggest advantage of it is the fact that it will never ask for ink.
No ink out messages will interrupt your printing, meaning you can stack up the paper feed and leave it printing indefinitely.

What inks are provided?

Ink Tec Sublinova Smart inks are one of the most renowned and high-quality sublimation inks available on the UK market.
They also offer the added ability to be used as a direct to garment ink in DTG printers making use of Epson Micro Piezo print head technology.

Manufactured for use in Epson printers, Sublinova Smart ink is designed to allow users to heat transfer images onto most synthetic materials.
These include materials such as polyester, ceramic mugs, spandex, nylon, sublimation plates / slates, and a plethora of other sublimates.

Images created with this ink are vibrant in colour, and also incredibly sharp.
The black ink offers unparalleled black transfer resulting in unrivalled monochrome reproduction.
This has the added benefit of eliminating unsightly brown or orange tones on any of your sublimated items.

Making use of Ink Tec’s “dispersed technology” Sublinova Smart inks offer unrivalled print quality, also providing the added benefit of not clogging your printer head.
Although specifically formulated to work with DX4 and DX5 printheads thorough testing has proved it to prove no problem in TFP heads and other Micro Piezo systems.

Furthermore SubliNova Smart ink is an environmentally friendly product.
Not only ROHS Compliant, but VOC and Formaldehyde free.

These inks are also accredited with the prestigious Eco Passport by the Oeko-Tex® Association

(DTI SEG SENS Ecopassport-LEVEL 1).

Connectivity-

Ink Experts support and recommend USB cable connection; although a lot of printer models we supply do support WIFI connectivity we strongly recommend to connect your printer via a USB cable. A USB printer cable (A to B type) is supplied with all our packages, some computers may require a USB C to B type depending on the available port.

We recommend USB cable connection for the following reasons:

• WIFI connection often affects the colour management settings and ICC colour profiles
• WIFI signal can be interrupted causing data transfer issues; printer delay or pausing during print jobs
• WIFI signal can be slow; affecting overall print speed

What heat press is included?

Select the heat press you require before purchase. This bundle is available with the following heat press options-

30 x 232cm Swing Away Press: a quality 30cx23cm (slightly larger than A4) swing away style heat press. Ideal for performing heat transfer prints on to a wide range of flat products or blanks including cushion covers, t-shirts, place mats, tote bags, jigsaw puzzles etc. More suited to heat pressing thicker products such as rock slate this robust and well made heat press will serve as vital tool for producing a range of products.

Mug Heat Press Inc. 10/11oz Element: dedicated mug heat press including heating element for 10/11oz sublimation coated mugs. A strong, reliable and robust mug heat press that wont break the bank and will serve start up users very well.

Tumbler Heat Press Inc. 20oz Element: dedicated tumbler heat press including heating element for 20oz sublimation coated tumblers. A strong, reliable and robust mug heat press that wont break the bank and will serve start up users very well.
